Pool owners who intend to sell or lease a property are now bound by new Queensland legislation requiring all pools and spas to meet strict regulations to become compliant and certified. An inspection is no mandatory for owner/occupiers.
Regulated Pools (including portable pools) or Spas that are capable of being filled with 300 millimetres or more of water, have a volume of 2000 litres or more and have a filtration system, are covered by the pool safety laws.
